Quicky Update
Saturday, June 6, 2009 - Gene Bromberg
First, the bad news–Tiffany Michelle, Liv Boeree and Brandon Cantu have all been eliminated from today’s $2,500 No-Limit Hold-Em event. Now for the good–Phil Hellmuth is still going strong in on Day 2 of the $2,000 No-Limit Hold-Em tournament (he has 185,000 with 54 players remaining) and Michael Binger is hovering around the top ten in chips in the prestigious $10,000 Mixed Event. There are 35 players remaining in that tournament, the top 27 get paid, so we may find ourselves pressing against the money bubble before too soon.
