Heighten your security with our SecureID PIN.

Friday, September 25, 2009 - ProductMan

Security is a safe bet at UltimateBet.  We’re constantly making improvements to stay way ahead of the curve.  We’ve just added an optional layer of security that will keep unauthorized users out of your account.  It’s called the SecureID PIN and it works a lot like the PIN you use with your debit or check card.

If you setup this feature, you’ll be required to enter your new SecureID PIN when you login to your UltimateBet account. After entering your username and password, a second authorization window will request your SecureID PIN.

If your account is ever inactive for more than 30 minutes you’ll need to re-enter your SecureID PIN, but not your username and password.

If you already have a UB account, you can set up the SecureID PIN feature from the game client.  Just choose “Update Profile” from the “My Account” menu and then click on the SecureID PIN link.

You can always disable the SecureID PIN from the cashier. Select “Update Profile” from the “My Account” menu and then click on the SecureID PIN link.

In order to further foil unauthorized users, you won’t be able to request a new SecureID PIN on your own.  You’ll need to contact UB Security and verify your identity before they’ll send a new randomly generated SecureID PIN.
