I’m here in Atlantic City for the USPC right now; the home of ageing slot machines and what seems like a very aged population. It’s my first time here and it is almost exactly what I expected in all honesty, except for one thing – I was pre-warned about the Taj Mahal hotel (where the event is being held and where I am staying). I was told it was horrible and that the rooms are shabby… completely not true! My room is brand new and HUGE and lovely so no complaints here!
Anyway, I’ve just made the final table of the $1k event which got down to the nine players very late last night and starts in just under fifty minutes so I’ve gotta keep this one brief… wish me luck! There’s a big shiny trophy and I want it to be mine…

Why does a picture of my faithful hound enjoying a birthday treat (a whole steak pie!) appear next to my every comment? Don’t get me wrong I love my old dog, but it’s not helping with the hard guy image I’m trying to portray! lol I didn’t add it to my profile? (I wouldn’t know how to!) I guess UB is just loving this picture?
