I hate to make a brag post, but this last weekend, I got to fly on a Private Jet for the first time, and let me tell you if you can afford it, (which I can’t) there is no other way to fly! No waiting in lines at the airport, no problems with security. When you land, a car is right outside your plane to drive you directly off the runway to your destination.
My friend Jon Orr owns just about every McDonalds in the State of Wisconsin and he decided to play the Wynn Classic 2k and 3k events and invited me to fly on his jet. How could I say no? Drinking a $2,000 bottle of scotch while you fly to Vegas is a lot better than drinking a shot of water they give you in those plastic cups – yes the ones with the tin foil top:)
The best part is you get to see through the cockpit window as you land. That was cool to see a plane landing from the pilot’s perspective.
I could have bought a ticket for $500 and flown commercial, but I was happy to spend that on a steak dinner for all of us instead. I can’t thank him enough, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget.
